Download your raw DNA data from 23andMe to use with DNArcade.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Visit 23andme.com and sign in with your email and password. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you'll need to complete that step.

Click on your name or profile icon in the top right corner, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Scroll down to the "23andMe Data" section. You may also find it under "Privacy & Security" depending on your account settings.

Click on "Download Raw Data" or "Request Download". You'll need to confirm your identity by entering your password again.

Note: 23andMe may take a few minutes to prepare your file. You'll receive an email when it's ready.

Once ready, download the .zip file containing your raw data. The file will be named something like "genome_Your_Name_v5_Full_YYYYMMDD.zip".

Head to DNArcade's upload page and drag & drop your downloaded file. You can upload the .zip file directly - no need to unzip it!

Done!

•Your 23andMe file typically contains around 600,000+ SNPs - plenty for accurate character generation.
•The download request may take 24-48 hours on busy days, but usually completes within minutes.
•You can upload the .zip file directly to DNArcade without extracting it.
•If you've done the test multiple times, download the most recent version for best results.

Remember: DNArcade never stores your raw DNA file. It's processed securely and deleted immediately. Only your fun character stats are saved.
